All of our sporting dog’s training begins with obedience; basic sit, stay, here, heel, place commands and each facet of training builds on the next.  Each level of training only reinforces this basic obedience and any training completed before it.  From basic obedience, we progress to E-collar conditioning, then force fetch, and into more complicated blind work.  All the while, we introduce and build confidence with multiple marks on land and water, honoring another retriever, and acclimation to hunting environments such as decoys, gunfire, and calling, among many other skills which all help to shape a well-rounded retriever!  We believe in teaching, not testing our dogs and in building a relationship on which training can be based.  Our started dogs will progress through this training and are priced based upon how far along they are as well as how much hunting experience they have been afforded.  Our started dogs will at minimum be force fetched, picking up multiple marks, have great obedience, and will have a half-season or more hunting experience to pull all of their training together.  Let us know what you are interested in and we can tailor a pup and training package to your liking.
