PENNY LANE
Our Red Female (Penny) is also a great hunting dog and pet. She is almost 2 years old and boasts many of the same attributes as Gus. Penny boasts 20 AKC Titles in her pedigree from hunting titles (Master Hunter, Etc.) to Field Champions. Penny has two National Field Champions in her line. These are competitive titles and only one is awarded in the USA each year! While Gus does have plenty of drive, Penny has more drive and speed on retrieves than any dog I have seen. She wants to work and she’ll do it until you are tired and have had enough. Penny weighs 55 pounds and has a great personality and temperament. Penny does have a great off switch and is a great companion in the home. She’s also a great and doting mother.

Our Chocolate male (Gus) is a phenomenal dog, both in the duck blind and in the home. Gus is 3 years old and has picked up several hundred birds. He boasts 5 AKC Hunting titles in his pedigree. Gus weighs 75 pounds and has a great temperament. In the home he is a loving, loyal, relaxed companion. Gus wants to please his owners as much as any dog I’ve seen. In the field, he has plenty of drive and perseverance whether chasing big honker cripples in freezing weather or picking up several 15 bird limits of doves on a 90 degree September day. Gus is a phenomenal marking dog and is running good blinds. He follows his nose as well as any dog I’ve seen and will find downed birds in the worst cover no matter the circumstances. Gus is also trained in shed antler hunting. He quarters well and works the wind much like an upland dog in pursuit of sheds. He has picked up several nice sheds that otherwise would have been squirrel food!
